This is the authentic Original Haze, directly sourced from Skunkman Sam, the breeder who preserved and carried this legendary line from Santa Cruz to Holland in 1985. These seeds represent one of the last remaining pure tropical/equatorial varieties—completely untouched by modern hybridization or indica influence.

Original Haze: A Living Archive

First bred in 1969 in the Santa Cruz Mountains by a grower known simply as "G", Original Haze was developed through a careful mix of Colombian landrace selections. Skunkman Sam, who lived nearby, helped preserve the line, and later brought it to Europe, where it became the backbone of many of today’s most influential hybrids.

This line has been maintained through IBL (inbred line) preservation, focusing on retaining its wild vigor, open structure, and unmatched aromatic complexity. It remains free from any Afghan or indica-based crossing—a true pure tropical cultivar.

The Line: Pure Original Haze

I received these seeds directly from Skunkman Sam in 2012. They are not hybrids, feminized, or altered in any way. What you’re getting is a direct continuation of the original Haze project—long-flowering, highly variable, and intensely expressive.

Expect a broad range of phenotypes, with aromas spanning incense, metallic spice, citrus rind, tropical fruit, and classic haze funk. The plant architecture is tall and narrow-leafed, with slow but vigorous development, true to its tropical origin.
