Authentic Sweet Skunk #1 – 10 Regular Seeds for $50

IBL – Inbred Line

Flowering Time: 8–10 weeks
Genetics: (Afghan x Colombian) x Acapulco Gold
Type: Classic Broadleaf x Tropical/Equatorial Blend

This is the Authentic Sweet Skunk #1, a stabilized inbred line (IBL) directly descended from the original breeding work of Skunkman Sam—also known as David Watson, the founder of Sacred Seed Co. I received this sweeter phenotype directly from David in 2012 and have worked with it ever since. It remains a standout for its aromatic profile, strong garden performance, and historical value.

Skunk #1: The Original Hybrid, Straight from the Source

Skunkman Sam, through Sacred Seed Co., created Skunk #1 in the 1970s using a blend of Afghan, Colombian, and Acapulco Gold genetics. This was one of the first true-breeding hybrids in cannabis history, and it revolutionized breeding with its uniformity, vigor, and predictable traits.

This, the sweet version of Skunk #1 featured here is known for its less acrid, more floral scent, impressive yields, and strong resistance to mold and mildew—making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor cultivation.

The Line: Authentic Sweet Skunk #1 (IBL)

This IBL line was carefully stabilized to capture the sweet, floral terpene expression and consistent structure of the original phenotype. Plants display vigorous growth, well-spaced internodes, and a distinct sweet aroma with noticeable myrcene content. Its genetic stability makes it especially useful for breeding or larger production runs where uniformity matters.

Great for:

  • Growers seeking classic, reliable genetics with mold resistance

  • Breeders looking for consistent trait transmission

  • Preservationists interested in authentic 1970s cannabis history

These are regular seeds, offering both male and female plants.
These are not feminized or autoflowering seeds.
