OG Kush: A Cultivar That Needs No Introduction

I’ve been growing the original OG Kush clone since November 2004, and I first experienced it in Los Angeles back in 1997. Its sharp, fuel-heavy aroma, dense trichome coverage, and unmistakable punch have kept it in my personal rotation for decades. As great as it is, the original cut isn’t known for high yields—which is exactly what I set out to improve with this cross.

Purest Indica: Fast, Dense, Foundational

Purest Indica, also known as the Steve Murphy Afghan, is a classic broadleaf line that was gifted to Seattle Greg in 1979. It’s compact, fast-flowering, and known for its structural strength. This line contributes shorter internodes, earlier finish times, and enhanced density—without watering down OG Kush’s character. 

One of my female mother plans of "Purest Indica" has an almost exact terpene profile to OG Kush as you can see in the attached photos and in my article with a link below.

Looking at the similarity in the tests, I believe that the "Purest Indica" is without a doubt, one of the parent plans to OG. Kush and the whole Chem line.
